The role
The Treasury Analyst role sits within the Financial Control department at HDI UK & Ireland, reporting to the Treasury and Investments Manager. The position focuses on treasury operations, cash management, and supporting investment and accounts payable activities.
Key accountabilities
Treasury & Cash Management
- Manage treasury and cash activities across UK & Ireland.
- Maintain and update the daily cash flow model.
- Recommend currency transfers to maintain liquidity levels as required by HDI Global Home Office.
Banking Operations
- Record all bank transactions (receipts, payments, transfers).
- Download and reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all assigned accounts.
- Produce and follow up on the unreconciled items report.
Audit & Reporting
- Support interim and year‑end audit processes by providing requested evidence.
- Assist with preparing content for the monthly Cash Analysis Report.
Investment & System Support
- Support UK GAAP and IFRS9 investment booking in collaboration with investment managers (Ampega).
- Set up and manage bank details for business partners in the underwriting system.
- Assist with treasury policy development, process maps, and ad hoc systems testing.
Departmental Support & Cross-Cover
- Provide cover for team members and Accounts Payable, including processing invoices and reviewing payment runs.
Adhere to both local and Group guidelines.

Qualifications
- Degree or studying towards an accounting qualification desirable, but not essential
- Experience in financial services or insurance is beneficial
